Linda Hamilton (September 26, 1957) actress. She was born in Salisbury, Maryland, United States. Her father was a doctor who died when she was very young: Carroll Stanford Hamilton. Then, her mother married a police chief. She was educated at Wicomico High School. Upon graduation, she entered the University of Washington for a time in Chestertown, Maryland because she decided to devote all her efforts to studying acting in New York.
Before gaining popularity for her performance in the film Terminator, she debuted in theatrical productions of medium quality. In addition, she starred in the television series Search for Tomorrow. She moved to Hollywood to give another direction to her career. She worked with James Cameron in the television series Beauty and the Beast, she became one of the stars of the fantasy genre.
She married Bruce Abbott, who abandoned her when she became pregnant.
In the acting world, she had several conflicts with producers, directors, and colleagues for her breach, disobedience and bad attitude in the recording sets. For this reason, her name and reputation began to be stained and she was displaced from several productions.
