Enzo Vogrincic Roldán (March 22, 1993) is an actor hailing from Montevideo, Uruguay. He has garnered international acclaim for his exceptional portrayal of Numa Turcatti in the film “La Sociedad de la Nieve”, a story based on true events.

Enzo Vogrincic Roldán is a Uruguayan actor, born to Guillermo Vogrincic, a former footballer, and Silvia Roldán Risotto. He has three siblings: Anibal, Viviana, and a younger brother.

During his youth, Enzo Vogrincic Roldán attended secondary education at Liceo Jubilar Juan Pablo II. Showing a fervent interest in acting from an early age, he made the decision to pursue this art form. In 2013, at the age of 20, he took a crucial step in the pursuit of his vocation by enrolling in the renowned public institute, Escuela Multidisciplinaria de Arte Dramático Margarita Xirgu (EMAD).

In a twist in his career, Enzo Vogrincic has combined his presence in the theater with notable forays into film and television. In 2018, he stood out with a brief role as a policeman in the historical drama “La Noche De 12 Años”, based on the book “Memorias del Calabozo” by Mauricio Rosencof and Eleuterio Fernández. Further highlighting his talent, the following year, he was an invaluable member of the cast in the immersive play “Cuando Pases Sobre Mi Tumba” by Sergio Blanco. In 2023, Enzo Vogrincic was part of the cast of the movie “La Sociedad De La Nieve”, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. The film is based on the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 in the Andes. Enzo played the role of Numa Turcatti, a young man not part of the Old Christians Club team but joined the journey by invitation from his best friend. In this cinematic project, he shared the stage with notable actors such as Agustín Pardella, Matías Recalt, Andy Pruss, Tomás Wolf, Diego Vegezzi, Fernando Contigiani, Esteban Kukuriczka, Valentino Alonso, Francisco Romero, Esteban Bigliardi, among others.

The casting process for the role of Enzo Vogrincic in “La Sociedad de la Nieve” involved a six-month waiting period. During this time, Enzo developed a growing curiosity about the events of the crash and the people involved. The filming of the movie presented significant challenges as it took place in extreme mountain conditions for 140 days with extremely low temperatures.

One of the difficulties the actor faced during the movie’s shooting was related to his diet and nutrition. After four years as a vegan, he was forced to make the difficult decision to adjust his diet to gradually gain and then lose weight as required by his character. Initially weighing 80 kilograms, Enzo managed to lose 23 kilograms

throughout the process.
