Alfonso “Poncho” Quezada Jr. is a Mexican singer and artist born on July 20, 1992. Along with his brother Imanol, he formed the group Los Dos Carnales in 2015. The group released their first album, Te lo Dije, in 2018. From a young age, Poncho was interested in music and began playing the accordion thanks to his father. Along with his brother, they worked as clowns and event artists before starting to perform in bars and gain recognition as cantina artists. Their origins are in Coahuila, Mexico and he is the oldest of the children of Alfonso Quezada and Norma Mancha. His brother Imanol was born six years later, in 1998.
In 2015, Alfonso “Poncho” Quezada Jr. formed the group Los Dos Carnales along with his brother Imanol, Armando Hernández and Kevin Montemayor. That year, the group began to make a name for itself by opening for La Trakalosa de Monterrey in Coahuila and creating their own repertoire. However, their debut did not come until October 2018 with the release of the album Te Lo Dije
In addition to Imanol, Poncho also has a younger sister named Ninel (Nelly) and another named Mariela. He is currently married and is a father. Like his brother, he has several tattoos; among them is a portrait of Chavo del Ocho, his year of birth, and the word Mexican written on his chest.
