Mackenzie Davis (April 1, 1987) actress of films, theater, and television. She was born in Vancouver, Canada. Her parents owned a hair care company. She studied at McGill University in Montreal, English Literature and Women’s Studies. After passionate about acting, she decided to study it professionally at Neighborhood Playhouse located in New York, United States.
She was impelled by Drake Doremus in the acting industry, was recruited by Breathe In. Little by little, she gained respect and opened doors on the big screen. She stood out in films like “What if”, Mars, Always shine, Blade Runner 2049 or Tully.
She was nominated for an award from the Canadian Academy of Film and Television in the category of Best Performance as a Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The F Word of the year 2013. The following year, she starred in the AMC period drama Halt and Catch Fire.
