Kevin Kaarl (born May 15, 2001) is a Mexican folk singer and musician. Born in Chihuahua (Mexico), he began his music career at a young age. Along with his brother, he learned to play several instruments, including the trumpet and guitar, and was also a member of a norteña music group. In 2018, he released his first single “Amor viejo” on YouTube, and the following year he gained fame with “Vámonos a Marte,” which was included on his debut album “Hasta el Fin del Mundo” (2019). Other hits by Kevin include “San Lucas,” “Quédate,” “Abrazado a Ti,” and “Es Que Yo Te Quiero A Ti.”

Kevin Kaarl is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and musician. He was born on May 15, 2001 in Meoqui, Chihuahua. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in music and participated in various school bands and norteña music groups. Along with his twin brother, Bryan, he learned to play several instruments, including the guitar and trumpet. As he grew older, Kaarl became more inclined towards the guitar. He soon began writing songs and eventually decided to upload them to his YouTube channel, which garnered a large number of views. This led him to focus increasingly on music, although he was also interested in photography.

Early Career

In 2018, Kaarl began his singing career by releasing the song “Amor Viejo” with his twin brother on YouTube. The song quickly exceeded one million views. Later, in 2021, it reached 13 million views and currently has more than 19 million views. On Spotify, it has more than 44 million plays (as of 2022).

Hasta el Fin del Mundo and San Lucas

After the release of “Amor Viejo,” on February 28, 2019, Kaarl released his debut album “Hasta el Fin del Mundo.” The album featured a total of twelve songs, including his most recognized singles: “Si Supieras,” “Vámonos a Marte,” “Colapso,” and “Todo Cambió.” One of the audience favorites was undoubtedly “Vámonos a Marte”; the song has accumulated more than 2 million plays on YouTube and has 183 million plays on Spotify. Later that year, he also released the EP “San Lucas” (2019), a seven-song work from which the songs “San Lucas,” “Abrazado a Ti,” “Vete,” “Good Times,” and “Tu Si Eres Real” stand out.

During that year, Kaarl also released various singles, such as “Quédate,” “Next to You,” entirely in English, and “Más y Más,” in collaboration with Sebastián Romero.

2020

In May 2020, he released the single “Cuanto te Vayas.” This was followed by “Es Que Yo Te Quiero A Ti,” a song about the nostalgia and pain of losing a special person, whose video clip he made in favor of the organization “Justicia Para Nuestras Hijas,” created by the families of women victims of violence in 2002.

2021

In 2021, his releases were reduced to two songs: “Por Ti Me Quedo en San Luis,” in collaboration with Un León Marinero, and the single “Toda Esta Ciudad.” Both songs were popular on social media and platforms, especially the single “Toda Esta Ciudad.” Currently, the Lyric Video of “Toda Esta Ciudad” has more than 15 million views on YouTube, while the official video has over 3 million plays.

In May 2021, Kaarl also participated in the Daniel Quién album “Aroma a Nostalgia,” with the song “Dime Que Siempre Vamos a Estar Juntos.” He later announced that he would be part of the artist lineup for the 2022 Vive Latino festival.

In June 2022, Kaarl returned with the single “Como me encanta,” a song about depression and the feeling of wanting to escape that immediately became popular on social media. Currently, the video is in the top 10 of trending videos on YouTube.
