Jason Momoa Biography

Jason Momoa (August 1, 1979) is an actor and model. He was born in Nānākuli, Hawaii. He grew up with his mother, a photographer, in Nānākuli, Hawaii. His fame began in 1998 since he met the international designer Takeo, he suggested that he be a model, although at that time he was a student of marine biology. In 1999 he won the Hawaiian Model of the Year award and organized the Miss Teen Hawaii pageant. Subsequently, he began acting in the television series: Baywatch (1999), Frankie Seau (2004), Ronon Dex (2005), and Khal Drogo (2011) in Game of Thrones.

During his training as an actor, he worked in a surf shop, his knowledge of the sea allowed him to land his first role on television, in Baywatch.

Later, he was in a similar movie called Family Vacation. He worked on another series called The Red Road.

Momoa and Bonet

He met actress Lisa Bonet in 2005, he says that since he saw her, he fell in love with her. On July 23, 2007, Bonet gave birth to their daughter, Lola Iolani Momoa. The following year, their son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, was born. After a long relationship of twelve years, Jason and Lisa were married in a low-key wedding in 2017. He was the victim of an attack in a Hollywood bar, a subject hit him in the face with a broken glass jug. The actor had to undergo several reconstructive surgeries, despite everything on his face there are still many scars.

Career

He was part of the television comedy The Game. The good performance of him allowed him to be the protagonist of a film called Conan the Barbarian, a film adaptation of the famous character of Robert E. Howard. That same year he played Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones; this role gave a great boost to his career. In 2016 he appeared in Batman vs. Superman as Aquaman

, henceforth he was a superhero in Justice League (2017), Aquaman (2018), and in the Justice League Part II film that will be released in 2019.
