Demi Lovato (August 20, 1992) singer. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. She was baptized as Demetria Devonne Lovato. Her parents, Patrick Lovato and Dianna De La Garza, moved to Dallas, Texas, when Demi was a little girl. Her father died when she was a girl. Subsequently, her mother struck up a relationship with Eddie De La Garza. Her mother was a “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader” and a well-known country singer. The young woman studied at Cross Timbers Middle School belonged to the choir class for several years. She also learned to play the piano at the age of seven.

They discovered her talent for acting, so Demi started recording episodes of the children’s television series Barney & Friends from 2003 to 2004. Two years later she was in the episode First Down of the series Prison Break as Danielle Curtin. She also appeared in the second season of the television series Just Jordan as Nicole. She cast for the role of Charlotte Adams in the Disney Channel miniseries, As the Bell Rings in its North American version. In 2008 she was in the famous Disney Channel movie: Camp Rock (2008). She played Mitchie Torres, a girl who wanted to become a singer. By that time, Lovato was already a Disney teen star.

Entertainment Weekly included it in its list of the ten new stars of 2008. Later, Lovato happened to be the protagonist of the original series of Disney Channel, Sonny with a Chance. The actress was also hired for the second season of the series. She was offered to be a member of the cast of a variety of live comedy sketches, So Random! It was Princess Rosalinda in the movie Princess Protection Program, the movie had a large audience of 8.5 million viewers. In September 2009, the production of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) began, becoming the most watched cable film in the United States.

On February 24, 2010, Demi appeared in the season finale episode of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the girl played Make a Wave, then made another appearance this time in the company of Cody Simpson, and Sisters Kardashians. Thanks to her popularity Lovato appeared in the episode entitled “Shiny Happy People” of the dramatic medical series Gray’s Anatomy as a teenage patient. Her performance was praised. Demi Lovato was invited to the September 15 episode of America’s Next Top Model, and in 2013 and 2014 she appeared in four episodes of the fifth season of the Glee series. In 2015 she was in From Dusk Till Dawn, Netflix original series, next to the Mexican actress Eiza González and her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama. Some of the musical themes composed by the actress were included in the Enchanted movie that was published in DisneyMania. Demi made a tour called ¡Demi Live! and then participated in the Burnin ‘Up Tour of the Jonas Brothers. The soundtrack of the original Disney Channel movie, Camp Rock was released in June 2008.

Demi performed four of the songs on the soundtrack, including “This Is Me” in a duet with Joe Jonas. This single reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. Lovato was the opening act of the Burnin ‘Up Tour of the JoBros from July to September 2008. That year she released her album Do not Forget, she was ranked number 2 in the Billboard 200 selling. In April 2009 the second single was released, La La Land, which reached number fifty-two on the Hot 100. In 2009, Demi released her second EP entitled iTunes Live from London, which was released on May 8, 2009, under the record label of Hollywood Records.

Here We Go Again, was her next studio album. The album sold more than 108,000 copies in the first week. The album was bent on acoustic music for the pop-rock sound. She made a tour called Summer Tour that year. Demi followed South America Tour 2010, as her first international tour; began on May 23, 2010, in Santiago de Chile, and ended on May 28 in São Paulo, Brazil. She was also on a tour with The Jonas Brothers and the cast of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. She had to leave because she was admitted to rehabilitation therapies to attack her drug addiction and alcoholism.

Demi declared in July 2010 that her next job was going to be linked to R & B. She stated that Keri Hilson and Rihanna served as inspiration. Due to her stage in rehabilitation the launch date was run. Finally, on July 12, 2011, the first single was released: Skyscraper. Then, on September 17, 2011, after leaving rehabilitation, Demi made her first show in Los Angeles. Demi Lovato began a world tour that began in the city of Detroit on November 16, 2011, and spread throughout Latin America.

In the following year, she was in the Summer Festival Iquique 2012, and also had several presentations in the United States, also recorded some episodes for the second season of The X Factor (USA). In 2013 she released her fourth album titled Demi. This album was very important to the artist because it was an experiment of different sounds. Demi began a tour in 2014 by the United States and Canada, to show their work, on the tour called The Neon Lights Tour had the opening by Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, and Cher Lloyd.

She lent her voice to films such as The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and also to the movie Frozen. Then she released other albums, such as Confident. The talented woman was awarded on December 11, 2015, with Billboard’s first ‘Rulebreaker Award’ for being considered an influential artist in the music industry. Lovato played the national anthem of her country in the final match between the New York Mets against Kansas City Royals, the presentation was given an ovation. She was seen as a producer of the movie soundtrack.

Demi Lovato supported the initiative of the United Nations, Girl Up, jointly with the Fabletics sportswear line. Subsequently, Lovato released a documentary entitled Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated to YouTube. She collaborated on the topic Échame la culpa de Luis Fonsi. The beautiful actress and singer is the official model of the Til You Rock store, Lovato is also the anti-bullying spokesperson of the PACER organization. She has received an award from the American Association for Disordered Disorders for being the spokesperson for the Join the Scourge Campaign! DoSomething.Org and the Clean & Clear brand. She is also in a campaign that seeks to raise awareness of the cause on the Disney Channel.
